Notice of Rights under the Personal Data Protection Act
For the conduct of its "E-Data Shop" services, Taiwan Futures Exchange Corporation (TAIFEX) will collect, process, and use your personal data. To protect your rights and interests, you are urged to carefully read all the explanatory points below.
1. Purpose of data collection:
Your personal data will be collected for the purpose of handling your requests and subsequent follow-up matters within the scope of the "E-Data Shop" services.

(090) Consumer and customer management and services
(135) Information (communication) services
(069) Matters with respect to the management of contracts, quasi-contracts, or other legal relations
Note: The above items are prescribed pursuant to the Specific Purposes and Categories of Personal Data under the Personal Data Protection Act.
2. Categories of personal data to be collected:
Category of data
(C001) Data that identify individuals. For example: name, phone number, mailing address, e-mail address, etc.

3. Time period, area, recipients, and methods of using personal data:
(1) Time period: Your personal data will be fairly used for the duration of the purpose for which it is collected.
(2) Area: TAIFEX
(3) Recipients: TAIFEX and e-invoice platform enterprise(s) used by TAIFEX.
(4) Methods: TAIFEX will collect, process, and use your personal data in electronic or hardcopy form.
4. Rights of data subject and methods to exercise such rights:
During the period your data is used, you can contact us regarding your personal data by phone or email using the contact details set out in Point 5 and request to exercise the following rights in accordance with Article 3 of the Personal Data Protection Act:
(1) making an inquiry of or requesting to review your personal data;
(2) requesting a copy of your personal data;
(3) requesting to supplement or correct your personal data;
(4) requesting the discontinuance of the collection, processing, or use of your personal data; or
(5) requesting to erase your personal data.

If you wish to exercise your rights as a data subject, you can contact TAIFEX's Computer Operation Department at a toll-free hotline number (0800-075-566) or by sending an email to TAIFEX's service inbox ([email protected]) to make a request. You can also use the same contact details above to raise any question, suggestion, grievance, or complaint.
6. Impact on your rights and interests if you do not provide your personal data:
Based on the specific purposes indicated above, you are required to provide the above-indicated personal data to TAIFEX. If you fail or are unable to provide the required data, TAIFEX may not be able to provide you with the data request service, and certain of your rights and interests may be impacted accordingly. TAIFEX will not be liable for any damages if your relevant rights or interests are thus impacted.
